Richard Chambers began painting at the age of 12. He received
his BFA from the Massachussetts College of Art, Boston, where he studied
with reknowned British artist Roger Tibbetts, among others. Chambers then
attended graduate school at the New York Academy of Art, where he studied
with contemporary masters Eric Fischl, Ted Schultz and Deane Keller.
Throughout his career, Chambers has completed many public and private commissions.
One of the most notable was as a contract artist for Evergreen Studios, where
Richard painted murals on canvas that were installed on both the ceilings and
walls of the Venetian Palace Hotel and Casino. These murals have been features
prominently on television on the Travel Channel, HGTV, and PBS, as well as
in music videos and many periodicals.
Richard Chambers lives and works in Thailand.
